“Inspired by the lineage of Jazz masters such as Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, John Coltrane, Elvin Jones, and Jack Dejohnette, Bellingham drummer Christian Casolary plays in a way that is steeped in expression, sensitivity, and creativity. Drawing mostly from the Jazz Standards Repertoire, his trio aims to honor timeless compositions while entering into the “realm of possibility”– where the music shows the musicians where to go next.
