I think all the band members would agree that you’ve done a fantastic job in setting up the Heart of Anacortes. The stage was roomy and comfortable, and the professional sound system and lighting were awesome. Move-in and setup couldn’t have been easier. We received many favorable comments about how well-balanced the sound was at this show. This is often difficult to achieve — especially at a typical gig where no one is assisting with the sound. It’s 1967—the “Summer of Love”—and strange sounds are coming from a Mount Vernon, Wash., garage. Inside, several high school friends are learning to play rock ‘n roll music. They work hard and enjoy local success, playing at high school dances, pizza parlors, and other venues. After graduation, this band of friends goes in many directions, but all eventually return to Skagit County. They’re still good friends today, and they still enjoy playing great music.
