Fantasy Band was founded in 1975 by Steve Olszewski and Eric Thompson as a contemporary rock musical act playing night clubs, concerts and myriad other venues. During the 70’s and early 80’s, with Steve on guitar and lead vocals and Eric on keyboards along with Grant Springer on drums and Teresa Springer on vocals, Fantasy was a fulltime, respected, and professional outfit that toured extensively up and down the west coast of the US and beyond.

Today, the band is playing a more limited schedule, but with the same commitment to great music and an entertaining delivery. Some members have changed over the years with the current line up being Steve Olszewski, Eric Thompson, Dave Perkins (bass), Danny Hansen (drums), Jan Ellingson (vocals, flute, percussion, guitar and keyboards), and Carr Johnson (keyboards, guitar, harmonica and vocals).

Fantasy may be a band from the 70’s but our equipment is state-of-the-art, utilizing modern digital mixing, electronic drums, in-the-ear monitoring and a leading edge Bose™ PA System. This is a highly experienced band with well-honed skills and a great sound.
